Well, it has taken over a year for me to finally get to this stage. Many, many evenings have been spent sifting through notes, re-listening to recorded interviews, pulling the themes together, then drafting and redrafting a 63 page beast, but eventually it got there! So pleased to see the report published and available to view at https://www.churchillfellowship.org/ideas-experts/ideas-library/developmental-language-disorder-dld/.

The report includes an executive summary and a very short version written in accessible language with visuals. I tried to make it read-aloud but technology defeated me!

I cover topics such as the role and admissions criteria of specialist language provisions, how educational support for students with DLD is organised and funded, the role of SLTs in education and literacy, and how SLTs and teachers can collaborate and learn from each other. I'd be really interested to hear any comments, reflections or questions if you do find time to give it a read.

Thank you!
